Reservation and payment information



This page is designed for two purposes. The first is to answer any questions you may have regarding how our deposits work. The second is to serve as notice to all prospective New Owners regarding how our reservation process and payments work.


The Reservation Process


Before reserving one of our puppies, PLEASE be sure you have approval from all decisions makers involved in your household, including but not limited to your significant other, your parents, your roommate and your landlord. Once the reservation process is complete, the deposit is non-refundable, regardless of how much or how little time has passed since you sent it.


The reservation process consists of three steps. The first is to give Shayna a call to get acquainted. That phone number is 479-252-6670. This is a landline. Please do not text this number.

The second step is our online contract. This is not the official contract, but it is sufficient to put the puppy on hold for you. Hard copies will be mailed out after you get a puppy reserved, and you will need to initial, sign, date and return one copy to Shayna.

The third step is to submit the non-refundable deposit. At the time of this writing, the deposit is $200, but we do reserve the right to change the deposit amount at any time.


Payments can be made online, via PayPal, to be instantly credited and put a puppy on hold. If you choose not to use PayPal, you may mail a money order. We do not accept checks. Please note that your puppy will not be on hold for you until your deposit arrives, unless you send a tracking number for your mailing. IF you send a tracking number, your puppy will be put on temporary hold to allow time for your money order to arrive. If you choose not to get a tracking number, the puppy you want may be reserved by someone else before your deposit arrives.


NO PUPPY WILL BE PUT ON HOLD UNTIL ALL THREE STEPS OF THIS PROCESS ARE COMPLETE


Once the online contract is complete, it is fully binding.


Deposits are non-refundable except in the event that something happens to the puppy while in our care. In that instance, you may choose another puppy, or if none are available, you will be added to the waiting list and all payments will be transferred to the new puppy you select.


If you do not accept these terms, please do not reserve one of our puppies.


Payment Options


Most people prefer instant online payments for their convenience. That is why we have PayPal. If you wish to pay with a credit or debit card, PayPal is the only option we have for those payments. We do NOT have CashApp, Venmo or other forms of instant payment, because those apps are not designed to be business applications. They are not as secure as they should be, and their customer service is severely lacking. It is unlikely that we will offer those payment options anytime soon. Online payments do incur sales taxes though, so if using PayPal, please be prepared for those.


If you prefer not to use online payments, you are welcome to mail a money order. However, because there have been MANY money order scams over the years, we prefer that you send postal or Wal-Mart money orders, as we can take them to our local post office or Wal-Mart to be verified and cashed. If you choose not to get a one of these types of money orders, our bank WILL put a 7-10 day hold on your payment, and your payment will NOT be considered "received" until that hold is lifted and the money order clears our bank. Please keep that in mind when mailing a money order that is purchased from somewhere other than the post office or Wal-Mart. You will need to mail these types of money orders about three weeks in advance of your final payment due date in order for it to arrive and clear the bank on time. We will not release a puppy until a money order has been verified.


If you are coming to get your puppy, you will want to bring cash with you. Please DO NOT bring a money order or check with you. We will not accept these forms of payment at the time of pick up, as we do not accept checks at all, and there would not be time to verify a money order. If you prefer not to travel with cash, then you will need to use PayPal or mail your money in enough time for it to be verified before your pick up date.


We do not accept personal checks.


Payment Due Dates


If you are picking your puppy up, your final payment date is the date of your scheduled pick up. If you have not already paid your balance before that date, please bring it with you in cash. Again, please DO NOT bring a money order or check to your pick up appointment.


For puppies that are being transported, final payment due dates are seven days prior to the transport date. We cannot make exceptions to this because a lot of planning and expense goes into sending the puppies home, and we need that time to get them ready to go.
